The Pool House is designed as a contemporary reflection of the existing, modernist Alveston Leys development, at the heart of this Warwickshire village.

A modern home, for a young, growing family, the new building is constructed in Danish handmade bricks supplied by James Mossman. Wrapped in copper cladding, the house appears to float over the lower ground floor, which nestles into the landscape.

This unique approach creates a large, open-plan family house, orientated to track the sun.  It’s the perfect environment for growing children, who can play freely and flourish, as the adults enjoy the relaxed ambience of a light-flooded home.

Through its colour, texture and scale, the building complements and responds to its mature, landscaped setting.
